Ereckson Voice Talent for Library Nightime Jamboree

Four Ereckson Middle School students joined Scott Sumner and me at the AC-TV studios today to audio record the script for Jenny Crane's Library Nighttime Jamboree, which will be performed as part of the Ba, Ba, Ba Books! puppet program at the Library's Day of the Child ~ Day of the Book celebration on April 29th. Sarah, Shaylen, Kylie, and Macy were terrific, as was their teacher / director Diane Balogh!

Starting - Oh my gosh, I'm blogging!

Hi friends,
Okay, I'm at home on my time off, but this is "fun work." Yeah, right. No, really, this is FUN! [My right brain is arguing with my left brain again. (;-) ] Maybe I need to go play with my dog (yeah, that's Miss Honey, all 82 lbs. of her, over on the left), and get my heart rate even & everything synchronized & the cortisol down.

Seriously, you might want to read The Heart Speaks by Mimi Guarneri -- as soon as I return it to the library, that is. It's a good read -- keeps me focused on breathing, staying calm, and enjoying life.

If you like The Heart Speaks, give Change or Die a try, too -- again, as soon as I return it and your turn comes up on the hold list. Interesting exploration of the psychology of change and why it's harder than we want it to be, with interesting examples of institutions & organizations that have been able to make difficult changes -- and some that haven't.
Well, I'm going to get out there and run with the big mutt so the Slackers exercise team will regain its former glory. Talk to you later!
